Alex Malzone

Alex Malzone is a vice president on Northmarq’s Midwest Multifamily Investment Sales team based in Chicago. He focuses on secondary and tertiary markets, specifically in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, and Ohio. Over the last four years, he has been involved in the disposition of $2 billion of apartment communities across the region.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Alex worked as an associate director at Berkadia in 2020. In this role, he was involved in more than 20 transactions throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Iowa.

Alex is an ambassador for Wesh4Ever which is a charity organization that provides financial assistance to adolescents and young adults battling cancer.

Alex received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, where he was on the football team from 2015-2018. During the 2016-2017 seasons, he received Academic All-Big Ten. He received his master’s degree in economics from Miami University in 2019. Alex was named a 2023 Top Sales Broker by CoStar and received the 2023 Top Broker Award for the Midwest by Connect CRE.
