Michael Federico

Michael Federico is a senior associate with Northmarq’s Commercial Investment Sales platform, focused on expanding the team’s presence in the Mountain West states while collaborating on transactions across Washington and Oregon. Based in Boise, Idaho, Michael specializes in the acquisition and disposition of multi-tenant retail properties, providing strategic advisory services to private and institutional investors.

Before joining Northmarq, he was a director of investment sales at Cushman & Wakefield, leading retail investment efforts in Boise and strengthening the firm’s market position in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain regions. He previously held roles at Matthews REIS and CBRE, where he contributed to market expansion, closed high-value transactions, and advised clients on investment strategies.

An active member of ICSC and NAIOP, Michael holds real estate licenses in Idaho and California. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family, embracing an active and outdoor-focused lifestyle.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a Minor in Business from The American University of Paris and attended Georgetown Preparatory School in Bethesda, Maryland, where he was a multi-sport athlete.
